Arguments
-db
Specify this option to check the contents of a host environment settings file on the file server or the
database server.
-bk
Specify this option to check the contents of a host environment settings file on the backup server.
-f environment-settings-file-name
In file-name, specify the absolute path name of the host environment settings file you want to check.
Return Values
0: Normal termination
Any value other than 0: Termination with an error
Conditions Causing an Error
This extended command fails in the following cases:
• An invalid option is specified.
• The file specified in the argument does not exist, or the system cannot access the file.
• The check of the contents of the file for setting up the host environment detected an abnormality.
Examples
• In this example, the extended command is used to check the contents of the host environment settings
file C:\Program Files\drm\SCRIPT\conf\host.dat that is placed on the file server or the
database server:
EX_DRM_HOST_DEF_CHECK -db -f "C:\Program Files\drm\SCRIPT\conf\host.dat"
• In this example, the extended command is used to check the contents of the host environment settings
file C:\Program Files\drm\SCRIPT\conf\host.dat that is placed on the backup server:
EX_DRM_HOST_DEF_CHECK -bk -f "C:\Program Files\drm\SCRIPT\conf\host.dat"
EX_DRM_RESYNC (Resynchronizes a copy group)
Formats
To resynchronize the copy group when usual operation is in the pair status:
EX_DRM_RESYNC operation-ID
[ -copy_size copy-track-size ]
[ -pf copy-parameter-definition-file ]
To resynchronize more than one copy group when usual operation is in the split state:
