The following conditions are assumed:
• The distribution target server volumes are formatted with NTFS, and are mounted on the D and E
drives.
• The drmsqlinit command has been executed on the distribution target server.
• The system databases (master, model, and msdb) are not specified when restoring.
• The database on the distribution target server is in the standby status.
To set a distribution target server to be an operation server:
1. Recover the SQL Server database.
To recover the SQL Server database, execute the drmsqlrecover command on the distribution
target server.
PROMPT> drmsqlrecover SQL1
KAVX0001-I The drmsqlrecover command will now start.
KAVX1302-I Recovery processing will now start.
KAVX1303-I Recovery processing has finished.
KAVX0002-I The drmsqlrecover command will now end.
