4. In the Services window, open the properties for the following services, and then change Startup
Type from Automatic to Manual:
HBase Storage Mgmt Common Service
HBase Storage Mgmt Web Service
HCS Device Manager Web Service
DeviceManagerServer
HP StorageWorks XP Tiered Storage Manager
5. Use the cluster management application to enable failover of the resource group.
Change the settings of the resources listed below.
HBase Storage Mgmt Common Service
HBase Storage Mgmt Web Service
HCS Device Manager Web Service (if you are performing an upgrade or overwrite installation
from version 7.0 or later)
DeviceManagerServer
HP StorageWorks XP Tiered Storage Manager
HiRDB/ClusterService _HD0
Resources of P9000 Command View AE Suite products other than the above products
If Microsoft Cluster Service is used:
Right-click the resource name, and choose Properties, the Advanced tab, and then Restart.
If Windows Server Failover Clustering is used:
Right-click the resource names, and then from the Policies tab under Properties, select the
following items:
- If resource fails, attempt restart on current node
- If restart is unsuccessful, fail over all resources in this Role (or If restart unsuccessful, fail
over all resources in this service or application)
6. In the resource group in which the P9000 Command View AE Suite product services have been
registered, also register HCS Device Manager Web Service.
You must register this resource if you upgraded from a version of P9000 Command View AE
Suite earlier than 7.0. Register according to Table 59 or Table 65.
7. In the cluster management application, bring online the resource group in which the P9000
Command View AE Suite product services are registered.
