Checking the operating status of services
You can check the operating status of the P9000 Command View AE Suite product services from the
Windows menu or by using the hcmdssrv command.
Operations to complete in advance
Log in as a user with Administrator permissions (for Windows) or as a root user (for Linux).
To check the operating status of the services:
• Perform the following operations:
In Windows:
Check the operating status of the services in either of the following ways:
In Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server
2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2
Select Start > All Programs > HP P9000 Command View Advanced Edition Suite > Manage
Services > Status - Command View AE Suite.
In Windows Server 2012
From the Start window, open the application list window, select HP P9000 Command View
Advanced Edition Suite, and then Status -Command View AE Suite.
By using the following command:
installation-folder-for-Common-Component\bin\hcmdssrv /statusall
In Linux:
Execute the following command:
installation-directory-for-Common-Component/bin/hcmdssrv -statusall
The operating status of the services are displayed in the window.
