HORCM_INSTP parameter description format
Use the HORCM_INSTP parameter to specify the machine information and path group ID of the remote
host.
dev_group
Specify the contents specified for dev_group of the HORCM_DEV parameter or HORCM_LDEV
parameter.
You cannot specify ip_address more than once for the same host for a single dev_group.
Specify no more than 31 single-byte characters. A hyphen (-) cannot be specified at the be-
ginning of the character string.
ip_address
Specify the IP address, the host name, NONE, or NONE6. If you specify NONE or NONE6, the local
host is assumed. If you use Replication Manager to add a new group to the existing configuration
definition file, this item will always be specified using the host name.
Specify the information for the host managed by the Device Manager server.
Match the IP address version (IPv6 or IPv4) to the one specified for HORCM_MON.
When an IPv6 environment is being used, you cannot specify a host name. If you specify a
host name, an IPv4 environment is used.
The table below lists the values that can be specified for ip_address. Note that some formats
cannot be specified for ip_address because they cannot identify a host.
