The Device Manager server, GUI, and CLI now support Microsoft Windows Server 2012 running
in a WSFC cluster configuration.

The Device Manager CLI can now add the following virtualization server product as a host used
with Host Data Collector:
VMware vSphere ESXi 5.0
VMware vSphere ESXi 5.1
The Device Manager server, GUI, and CLI now support Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.3.
The Device Manager GUI now supports Firefox ESR 17.0.x for Linux.
For XP P9500, the Device Manager CLI now supports the following functionality for a resource
group used for a data migration that uses virtual IDs:
Adding volumes to the resource group and assigning them virtual IDs
Removing volumes from the resource group and releasing their virtual IDs
For XP P9500, the Device Manager GUI now supports the following functionality for a resource
group used for a data migration that uses virtual IDs:
In the Allocate Volumes dialog box, adding volumes to the resource group and assigning
them virtual IDs
In the Unallocate Volumes dialog box, removing volumes from the resource group and
releasing their virtual IDs
For XP P9500, Device Manager now supports zero page reclaim of THP volumes that have
Business Copy configurations.
For XP P9500, Device Manager does not display the message KAIC15056-W as frequently when
checking whether a storage system was changed by a storage management tool other than Device
Manager (such as CCI or SVP).
The hdc.service.localport property and hdc.adapter.localport property have been
added to Host Data Collector. These properties make it possible to specify the TCP ports used for
the internal communications of Host Data Collector for Windows.
Host Data Collector no longer uses TCP port 5001.
Host Data Collector now supports the following operating systems as a server:
Oracle Linux 6.2 UEK R2
Oracle Linux 6.3 UEK R2
