WARNING!
Do not use a Managed Service Account if Windows Server 2008 R2 is the OS on the pair management
server, database server, or backup server. If a Managed Service Account is specified for one of the
following services, errors might occur when Replication Manager operations are being performed:
Application Agent Services (Protection Manager Service, HBsA Service)
SQL Server, SQL Server Agent, and other SQL Server-related services (when running a service to
create a replica for an SQL Server database)

To implement linkage to Device Manager Agent running on a guest OS of VMware ESX 4.x or VMware
ESXi 4.x, use version 7.0.1 or later of both Device Manager server and Device Manager agent.
If you link to a Device Manager Agent running on a guest OS of VMware ESX 5.x, use version 7.2
or later of Device Manager server and Device Manager Agent.
