The configuration with CIM/WBEM functions might have failed if Device Manager managed
XP1024/XP128 or XP12000/XP10000.
The results displayed in a browser window might be reflected in the navigation area and the
application area of other browser windows.
From the CLI, if a logical group path in the logicalpath parameter was specified and the
GetLogicalGroup command was executed, the KAIC07026-E error occurred.
KAIC15057-W was displayed in the virtualization server window even though all virtualization
servers were not updating, and KAIC15058-E was displayed in the virtualization servers
window even though all virtualization servers were up-to-date.
Important considerations
Replication Manager add-on Installer does not start
The Installer does not start after you click the [Install] button of the Replication Manager add-on in
the [HP P9000 Command View Advanced Edition Suite Product Select Page] screen. The issue
arises when the following conditions are met:
Host OS is Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2.
You are logged on to Windows as a user with Administrator permission other than the built-in
Administrator.
User Account Control (UAC) is enabled.
To work around the issue, install the Replication Manager add-on using one of the following
methods:
Right -click on "_pi_.exe" stored in <DVD drive>:\PSP\HDVMAGENT to execute [Run as
administrator].
Log on to Windows as the built-in Administrator. Restart the installation.
Disable User Account Control. Restart the installation.
The issue will be resolved in a future release.
When using VMware ESX 4.0 or later, or VMware ESXi 4.0 or later
When using VMware ESX 4.0 or later, or VMware ESXi 4.0 or later, note the following:
[Device Manager]:
After configuring or releasing a command device, or after changing the P-VOL or S-VOL
configuration, if the hldutil command is executed on a virtual machine, the output information
on command device, P-VOL, and S-VOL might be incorrect. See the command device column in
the Host window of the Device Manager GUI to confirm command device information. Also refer
the copy role column in the Host window of the Device Manager GUI to confirm the P-VOL/S-
VOL information.
If the hldutil command of the Device Manager agent is executed on the virtual machine, the
output WWN information will always be information about the physical WWN. See the World
Wide Names/iSCSI Names column in the Host window of the Device Manager GUI to confirm the
virtual WWN of the virtual machine.
[Replication Manager]:
The Replication Manager command device configuration function cannot be used to set a volume as
a command device, if the volume has been allocated for a virtual machine.
(a)Use P9000 Remote Web Console to set the volume as a command device.
(b)Use P9000 Remote Web Console to add the command device in (a) to a VMware host group and
then make sure that a path is set for the command device.
