Specify the value of VMware vCenter Server in a configuration in which VMware vCenter Server
is used to perform integrated management on virtualization servers.

• To modify information about the virtualization servers managed by vMA, you need to specify
at least one of the following parameters: ipaddress, hostprotocol, hostuserid, or
hostuserpassword.
• To modify information about the virtualization servers managed by Host Data Collector, you
need to specify at least one of the following parameters: ipaddress, hostprotocol,
hostuserid, hostuserpassword, or hdcipaddress.

To switch the method of managing virtualization servers from using vMA to using Host Data
Collector, you need to specify both the parameter hostprotocol and the parameter hdcipad-
dress.
Parameter values to obtain in advance
hostname
Obtain this value from the execution result of the GetHost command. Execute this command by
