Syntax
hostcfg –op <op_string> -ha <HostAgent> [-auth <user:passwd>] [-ms <URL>]
[-L] [d<char>] [-hr] [-?]
Supported disk array types
XP and P9000 disk arrays
Description
Displays the configuration data of the host that is connected to the management station. It also displays
array related information. You can also use this command to remove unwanted hosts.
Switches
Required. Specify the task to be performed. Not necessary if -list is used.
nl
xpinfo_req: indicates that the P9000INFO data must be sent to the management
station.
nl
ha_rem: requests the management station to remove this host agent from its database.
op <op_string>
Required. Specify the host agent system. This can either be a host name or an IP
address. Not necessary if -list is used.
ha <hostagent>
Lists the host configuration data that is stored on the management station.list
The output from the -list switch must be labeled, but delimited.
L
Specify the character for delimited output.d <char>
Displays data in a readable form.hr
Specify a user name and password pair in the format user name:password.auth <user:passwd>
