Data Retention
With Data Retention you can set the following access attributes on Snapshot pair volumes:
Read/Write, Read Only, Protect, S-VOL Disable. When working with these products, be aware
of the following restrictions:
• Supported access attributes can be set on volumes that are already pair volumes.
• The S-VOL Disable attribute cannot be set on the pair in the following status:
COPY◦
◦ SMPL(PD)
◦ COPY(RS)
◦ COPY(RS-R)
◦ PSUE
However, the attribute can be set on the P-VOL in these statuses, except for COPY(RS-R).
