• PAIR: When initial copy is completed. The V-VOL is a virtual mirror image of the P-VOL.
• PSUS: When a pair is split by the user.
• PSUE: When the system cannot keep the P-VOL and the V-VOL synchronized due to an error
condition.
• SMPL(PD): When the pair relationship between the pair volumes is deleted (released). After
all internal processing is completed, the status changes to SMPL.
