Operations for BC pairs directly related to the delta resync pair—and Cnt Ac-J status
requirements—are the same whether you perform the BC operation at the intermediate site with
the delta resync P-VOL, or at the remote site with the delta resync S-VOL.
The following table shows the supported operations for status combinations.

Sharing volumes in a 3-Cnt Ac-J DC cascade configuration
Business Copy volumes can be shared with Continuous Access Journal volumes in 3 DC cascade
configurations. The BC primary and secondary volumes can be shared with Cnt Ac-J volumes, as
shown in the following figure.

When associated with these configurations, BC pair operations are dependent on the pair status
of the Continuous Access Journal local-intermediate pair and the local-remote pair. The following
tables show the operations that can be performed.
