Primary volume
• LDEV ID: Primary volume’s LDEV identifier:
• LDEV Name: Primary volume’s LDEV name
• Port ID: Port name of the primary volume LDEV’s LUN path
• Host Group Name: Host group name of the primary volume LDEV’s LUN path
• LUN ID: LUN ID of the primary volume LDEV's LUN path
• Emulation Type: Primary volume’s emulation type
• Capacity: Primary volume’s capacity
• CLPR: Primary volume’s CLPR number.
A hyphen (-) displays for Port ID, Host Group Name, and LUN ID if Business
Copy for Mainframe is specified.
Mirror unit number. A hyphen (-) displays for Business Copy for Mainframe pairs.Mirror unit
Snapshot only. A hyphen (-) displays for non-Snapshot pairs.Pool Name (ID)
Select Secondary Volume window
Use this window to select LDEVs that will be the secondary volumes.

Allows you to filter the available LDEVs according to the capacity you select.Capacity dropdown
Refers to the selected primary volumes in the Selected Pairs table with no assigned
secondary volume.

select
When checked, volumes already in a pair are not displayed. Not applicable
for Business Copy Z.
Exclude Paired Volume
When clicked, opens the LDEV Properties dialog box, which contains additional
information for the selected LDEV.
Detail button
When clicked, moves the selected LDEV to the Selected Pairs table.Set button
When clicked, returns the selected secondary volume from the Selected Pairs
table back to the Available LDEVs table.
Clear button
Create Pair wizard 85
