5. Establish the logical paths in the forward direction (from the primary site to the secondary site)
from the primary site.
For Continuous Access Journal Z copy groups, establish the inter-disk controller logical paths.
For Continuous Access Synchronous Z or TrueCopy Asynchronous for Mainframe copy groups,
establish the inter-control unit logical paths.

6. Define the route list for the forward and reverse directions (from the primary site to the
secondary site, and from the secondary site to the primary site) from the primary site.
7. Register a command device for the forward direction in the storage systems of the primary
and secondary sites from the primary site.
