HP P9000 Replication Manager Software 7.3.1-00 Release Notes

NOTE: Even though the task remained in the running state, the processing for the operation
performed on the storage system finished normally.
All volumes appear in the hosts view or storage view after interrupting processing while running
Refresh Storage Systems or Refresh Configuration.
A processing interruption indicates that the service stopped, the power turned off, or some other
issue occurred.
Fixes for 7.3.0-00
In an environment where Replication Manager recognized more than 140,000 LUNs, Replication
Manager operations might generate the RPM-00821 message.
If you selected the Delete Ports radio button in the Edit Remote Path dialog box, a Null Pointer
Exception might occur and an attempt to delete the remote path did not succeed.
If an operation that added a copy pair was performed for a copy group that existed in the Copy
Pair Management window, and then a Refresh Configuration operation was performed
for some of the information sources, the copy pair definition information displayed by Replication
Manager was the old information from before the copy pair operation.
If a large number of hosts or pair management servers were registered in a site, when an attempt
was made to expand the Hosts or Pair Configurations tree for the site, the XP P9000 Command
View AE Suite common component services might end abnormally.
An attempt to perform the Refresh Configuration operation for an information source after
XP P9000 Command View AE Suite was updated to Version 7.2.0-00 or later might generate
the KAVN00506-E (RPM-00821) message.
When the Refresh Configuration operation was performed for an information source after
a pair operation
1
, Replication Manager displayed the old copy pair information.

Replication Manager might not automatically synchronize with the Device Manager database,
even though automatic synchronization was enabled.
After a scheduled task was executed more than once, the next execution might be delayed.
When Delete DevMgr was executed for an instance of Device Manager registered as an
information source, and then Add DevMgr, Refresh Configuration, or Refresh Storage
System Information was executed, it might take longer than normal to complete the operation.
When Delete DevMgr was executed for an instance of Device Manager registered as an
information source, and then Add DevMgr was executed, the configuration information of the
information source that was added might not be displayed in the resource view.
In an environment in which a character other than a comma ( , ) was used as the thousands
separator in the numeric representation of values, if there was a primary volume
2
with a 4-digit
amount of space on the 2. Pair Association page of Pair Configuration Wizard, when an attempt
was made to add a secondary volume with the same amount of space, the attempt did not succeed
and the following message was displayed:
The selected primary volume and secondary volume had different amounts
of space. Select two volumes with the same amount of space and try
again.
