Enhancements
• You can now use an MF-DP volume to set the configuration of a copy pair. You can also
determine whether the target volume is an MF-DP volume from the volume attribute
information.
• You can now manage and monitor a consistency group that contains both open-system
Continuous Access pairs and mainframe Continuous Access pairs in HP P9500 storage
systems, in the same manner as in XP24000/XP20000 storage systems.
• You can now manage a Continuous Access Journal/Continuous Access copy pair that uses a
volume connected via FCoE.
• Configurations can now include pair management servers in a redundant configuration at a
remote site. Even if one of the pair management servers at the remote site is unavailable due
to maintenance or a hardware failure, you can still display and monitor configuration
information and perform operations on copy pairs (such as resync, split, and restore).
