Verifying new device recognition

To verify the devices on the newly installed disk array:

1. Power on the system.

2. Log in to the system as root.

3. Generate a ﬁle containing peripheral device information by entering

# hinv –v > /tmp/hinv.info

4. Display peripheral device information by entering

# more /tmp/hinv.info

5. Verify that all new devices on the d isk array are listed.
