If you enter an incorrect field format, an error message with the appropriate format is displayed.
The following table describes iSCSI boot setting attributes and field formatting.

iSCSI Boot Configuration
Name used for the iSCSI initiator boot system. The
initiator name length is maximum of 256 characters. If

the initiator name contains nonalphanumeric characters,
it must be enclosed in double quotes. The value must be
in the following format:

Boot target. The target name length is a maximum of
256 characters. If the name contains nonalphanumeric

Primary IP address of the iSCSI target. This value is in
dotted-decimal format. For example:

Primary IP Address (required)
TCP port associated with the primary target IP address.
The Default value is 3260.
Primary Port (required)
Alternate target IP address used if the primary address
is unavailable.
IP Address 2
TCP port associated with the alternate IP address. The
default value is 3260
Port 2 (required if an alternate target IP address is
specified)
