3. Go the “Receipt Printer JPOS\JPOS\jpos\res” folder.
4. Using Notepad (or text editor) modify the A799 section in the “CONFIG.XML” file. The
following items will need to be modified:
• PortName for Ether will need to be uncommented out.
o Remove”!--“ (two dashes) from the beginning of the line and ”--“ (two
dashes) towards the end of the line.
• IPAddress that is on the diagnostics printout will need to entered in the
CONFIG.XML file.
o Will also need to uncomment the line by removing”!--“ (two dashes) from
the beginning of the line and ”--“ (two dashes) towards the end of the line.
• PortNumber that is on the diagnostics printout will need to be entered in the
CONFIG.XML file.
o Will also need to uncomment the line by removing”!--“ (two dashes) from
the beginning of the line and ”--“ (two dashes) towards the end of the line.
• PortName for NativeUSB will need to be commented out.
o Add”!--“ (two dashes) towards the beginning of the line after the “<” and ”-
-“ (two dashes) to the end of the line before “>” to comment this line out in
the CONFIG.XML file.
