6.6.4.2 Testing HP ap5000 MSR in OPOS mode
The following is overview of the steps to test the ap5000 MSR followed by
detailed steps:
1. Start the OPOS test utility from Windows start menu.
2. Click on the “OPEN” button to start the test, should receive “Open
Success” status message.
3. When one swipes a valid card in the ap5000 MSR data should
appear in the test utility. The “x” represent will be replaced by the
data that is read from the card that is swiped.
4. To exit the application:
a. Click “CLOSE” button.
b. Click on “X” in the upper right hand corner to close the test applet.
