6.11.4.4 Testing the scanner in USB COM mode with JPOS
The JPOS drivers are located in “C:\xxxxx\Point of Sale\Scanner (Mobile
Retail Jacket)\ Mobile Retail Jacket Scanner JPOS” folder.
The following is an overview of the steps to test the scanner followed by
detailed steps:
1. Open JavaPOStester.
• C:\xxxxx\Point of Sale\Scanner (Mobile Retail Jacket)\ Mobile
Retail Jacket Scanner JPOS\ HPJPOSMobileScanner.bat.
2. Click on the “Scanner” tab.
3. Select the proper device from the drop down menu.
4. Click on the “OPEN” button.
5. Click on the “CLAIM” button.
6. Scan a barcode and the data will appear in the “Scan Data” and
“Scan Data Label” boxes.
