Question: With the A799II printer receiving yellow bang in Windows device manager saying Cognitive
TPGA795 but everything seems to work in OPOS/JPOS. How do I get rid of this yellow
bang.
Answer: Point to the i386 folder that is located in the Windows mini-drivers. Will need to point to the
32bit or 64bit folder depending on your operating system in order to get the correct i386
folder.
Question: What version of OPOS driver do I need to support the Ethernet connection?
Answer: On the A799II Ethernet printer model need OPOS driver version 1.13.3.8 or later.
Question: What version of JPOS driver do I need to support the Ethernet connection?
Answer: On the A799II Ethernet printer model need OPOS driver version 1.13.0.3 or later.
Question: The A799II Ethernet printer will lockup with the OPOS test utility when I hot dock and
undock the unit, I get an error message when I try to print or claim the printer.
Answer: Hot docking / undocking is not supported on the Ethernet printer since A799II Ethernet
printer is not directly hooked up to the computer, Windows is not aware if the device is
present or not. When using the Ethernet printer it is recommend to OPEN / CLAIM the
network printer prior to printing a receipt and CLOSE the printer after the receipt is printed.
