Question: How can I tell which COM port the scanner is assigned when it is USB-COM mode for
OPOS/JPOS?
Answer: Open Windows Device Manager and open the “com0com – serial port emulators” device to
see which COM port has been assigned.
Note: The above screen capture show the scanner assigned as COM2, your system setup
could vary.
