rp5800コンピューターのシリアル コ ネ ク タ は、 標準の （電源供給機能な し）
シリアル コ ネ ク タ または電源供給機能付き シ リ アル コネクタのどちらかに
設定で き ます。一部の市販デバイ スでは電源供給機能付き シ リ アル コネクタ
が使用 さ れています。シ リ アル コ ネ ク タが電源供給機能付き コ ネク タ と し て
設定さ れている場合、電源供給機能付き シ リ アル インターフェイスをサポー
ト するデバイ スには外部電源は不要です。
rp5800コンピューターのシリアル コネクタは、[コンピューター セッ トアッ
プ（F10）ユーティリティ] を使用して設定できます。 Onboard Devices
（オンボー ド デバイス） メ ニ ューで、 シ リアル コネクタごとに以下の3つの
設定を選択で き ます。 コ ネク タ AおよびBはコンピューターにあらかじめ搭載
されています。 コネクタCおよびDは拡張カー ド 上にあ り ます。
• スタンダード
• ピン1およびピン9に5 V
• ピン1およびピン9に12 V
注： [コンピューター セッ トアップ （F10）ユーティリティ]にアクセス
するには、 コンピューターを再起動し、HPロ ゴ画面が表示された ら すぐ
に（オペレーティングシステムが起動する前に）F10キーを押し ます。
