backup
All backups after the initial baseline backup write only the data
that has changed to the AutoBackup appliance. This keeps
network traffic and storage space requirements low and allows
versioning.
integrity check A task performed by a database server to ensure the data stored
within it has not been corrupted. This task can be performed by a
backup system administrator to ensure the database containing
information for an appliance (and therefore the data from its
protected computers) is not corrupted.

LCD status
display
A small LCD (liquid crystal display) panel on the front of the
AutoBackup server computer containing appliance status
information. This information is also available through the Web
Administration Interface.
lightbar status
indicator
A large light on the front of the AutoBackup appliance that
indicates the status of the computer itself. This information is also
available through the Web Administration Interface.
load balancing A feature, which ensures a maximum of five scheduled backups at
any one time. Dial-up and manual backups are always processed..

manage
protected
computers
A set of tasks available from the Web Administration Interface
that allow one to view and/or modify certain properties of a
specific protected computer, including the its backup log, backup
schedule, and computer account information.
MMC console
see Advanced Administration Console.
manual backup
A backup of one or more files from a protected computer at the
request of a user of that computer. The user must specify which
files to back up, the backup is performed at that time. A manual
backup can be full or partial.
Note that the user need not have a computer account to perform
this operation, only access to the protected computer.

connection
The connection between the HP SureStore AutoBackup appliance
and the protected computers.

OK status
indicator
A green icon that indicates a specific property of AutoBackup
falls within its acceptable range.
