System in soft-off state. This is the normal state of the appliance after you have
pushed the power button and the appliance has powered down, but the power cord is
still plugged in. In normal operation, you should never power down the appliance.

There is a possible hardware failure. Try resetting the power to the appliance. If this
fails contact HP
Boot Up Issues
Stage One
This may be caused by one of two things:
The front bezel must be closed before the machine can boot. If the front bezel
has been replaced but has not been properly located, there is a switch which
tells the appliance that the bezel is still open. It is in this case which the
failure mode occurs. It may be that the switch is broken. Ensure this switch is
closed before booting the appliance.
Note : If the bezel was opened while the appliance was powered on, then the
next time it boots, the appliance will shut down after one square. If it is
rebooted again then it will boot properly.
There is an error with the BIOS self test. The Operating system cannot boot.
Try resetting the power to the appliance. If this fails then contact HP
Stage Two
The Operating system cannot boot. The appliance should automatically try to recover
by rebooting itself. Wait for five minutes. If the appliance stays in the same state,
there may be a more serious issue. If so try resetting the power to the appliance. If
this fails contact HP
