7.6  Touch Screen – HP L6015tm / L6017tm Projective Capacitive (PCap) 
7.6.1  Connection 
Please see the documentation that comes with the monitor for connection information.  
7.6.2  Windows Drivers for the Touch Screen 
For Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit) and POSReady 7 (32 and 64 bit) operating system, the touch is 
recognized by the operating system automatically. 
For Microsoft POSReady 2009 operating system the drivers for HP touch screen are already 
installed in the HP factory image and are also available from HP.COM. 
The following is overview of the steps to install the touch screen drivers and applets: 
1.  Start the touch screen installer by clicking on the SETUP.EXE file from the “Touchscreen” folder 
in the start menu. 
2.  Click on the “OK” to start the installation process.  
3.  Once the installation is complete restart the operating system by selecting YES to the restart 
question. If one selects “NO” one will see a screen that indicates the driver was successfully 
installed; manually restart after other items installation are complete. 
Detailed Steps 
1.  Start the touch screen installer by clicking on the SETUP.EXE file from the “Touchscreen” folder 
in the start menu.
