Question: How does one start and stop the optical door utility service?
Answer: One must have administrator privileges in order to stop and start the service once it has
been installed in the image. The following are the syntax:
• Syntax to enable “ODDDoorCoverMonitor.exe –install”
• Syntax to disable service “sc stop HPODDDoorCoverMonitor.exe”
• Both enable and disable of the HPODDCoverMonitor service requires a
reboot for the service to perform the action.
