Scanner assemblies

Flat lid or ADF assembly

The scanner cover is either a flat lid or an Automatic Document Feed

(ADF) assembly. Removal of the ADF assembly is pictured here.

1 Open the cover

2 Slide up the two hinge-tab locking shims (callout 1).

Note The flat lid has no hinge-tab locking shims.

3 Slightly close the cover while lifting up to gently remove it.
