130 Chapter 5 - Removal and replacement EN

Back cover

1 Remove the right side cover (page 113) and open or remove the

left side door (page 129).

Note The back cover can be removed without removing the left side door,

but removing the back cover removes the support for the left side

door leaving it vulnerable to breakage.

2 Open the straight-through output door.

3 Remove two screws (callout 1) from the back of the product.

Note The back cover has two tabs (not shown), one on the side of the

printer and one on the bottom. You may want to use a screwdriver

to press on the side tab (callout 2).
