Paper lift-plate assembly and pickup roller
shaft
1 Remove the front cover, print cartridge door, and front guide
assembly (see pages 133 through 138).
2 Remove the pickup assembly (see page 155).
3 Release the locking tab on the pickup roller shaft as shown.

Slide the shaft toward the right until the left end releases.
