Formatter
1 Remove the left side cover (see page 80).
2 If the optional copier/scanner assembly is attached to the printer,
disconnect the copier/scanner cable (callout 1) from the
formatter.
3 Disconnect the two flat flexible cables (callout 2) from the zero
insertion force (ZIF) connectors on the formatter.
4 Unplug the laser/scanner cable (callout 3) and the control panel
cable (callout 4) from the formatter.
