* Not all features are in all editions of Windows 7. Systems may require upgraded and/or separately purchased hardware to take full advantage of Windows 7 functionality. See microsoft.com/windows/
windows-7 for details.
1 IP 54 rating (Ingress Protection rating) certies that the RP7 Retail System Model 7100 is designed so that dust or splashed water will not interfere with the operation of the system.
2 64-bit computing on Intel® architecture requires a computer system with a processor, chipset, BIOS, operating system, device drivers, and applications enabled for Intel® 64 architecture. Processors will
not operate (including 32-bit operation) without an Intel 64 architecture-enabled BIOS. Performance will vary depending on your hardware and software congurations. Multi-Core is designed to improve
performance of certain software products. Not all customers or software applications will necessarily benet from use of this technology. 64-bit computing on Intel® architecture requires a computer
system with a processor, chipset, BIOS, operating system, device drivers, and applications enabled for Intel 64 architecture. Processors will not operate (including 32-bit operation) without an Intel 64
architecture-enabled BIOS. Performance will vary depending on your hardware and software congurations. Intel’s numbering is not a measurement of higher performance. Some functionality of this
technology, such as Intel® Active management technology and Intel Virtualization technology, requires additional third party software in order to run. Availability of future “virtual appliances” applications
for Intel vPro technology is dependent on 3rd party software providers. Microsoft Windows required.
3 Projected capacitive technology is available on 15-inch and 17-inch displays; resistive touchscreen is available on the 15-inch display.
4 Monitor comes standard as head only. HP Dual Position L6010 Stand (A1X79AA) is available for separate purchase.
5 Each sold separately. HP does not support the use of any other standard USB device on the displays beyond the HP Retail Integrated Fingerprint Reader, HP Retail Integrated Dual-Head MSR, HP Retail
Integrated Webcam and HP Retail Integrated Barcode Scanner. “Congure to order (CTO)” product numbers ending in AV should be used when conguring the system at the initial point of purchase.
“After-market option (AMO)” product numbers ending in AA should be used when adding peripherals after the initial purchase of a congured solution. Internet access, sold separately, is required for
transmission of images and video over a network using the webcam.”
6 Certain restrictions and exclusions apply. HP Care Pack Services extend service contracts beyond the standard warranties. Service levels and response times for HP Care Packs may vary depending on
your geographic location. Service starts from date of hardware purchase. To choose the right level of service for your HP product, use the HP Care Pack Services Lookup Tool at hp.com/go/lookuptool.
Additional HP Care Pack Services information by product is available at hp.com/hps/carepack.
7 Above 3 GB, all memory may not be available due to system resource requirements.
8 For hard drives, GB = 1 billion bytes. Actual formatted capacity is less. Up to 16 GB (for Windows 7) of system disk is reserved for system recovery software.
9 Audio input ports are re-taskable as a Line-in or Microphone-in port. External speakers must be powered externally. Multi-streaming can be enabled in the Realtek control panel to allow independent
audio streams to be sent to/from the front and rear jacks. This allows for dierent audio applications to use separate audio ports on the system. For example, the front jacks could be used with a headset
for a communications application while the rear jacks are being used with external speakers and a multimedia application.
10 All specications represent the typical specications provided by HP’s component manufacturers; actual performance may vary either higher or lower.
11 Internet access required and sold separately.
12. “Congure to order (CTO)” product numbers ending in AV should be used when conguring the system at the initial point of purchase. “After-market options (AMO)” product numbers ending in AA should be
used when adding peripherals after the initial purchase of a congured solution.
