Display
Component Description
(1) Internal microphones (2) Record sound.
(2) Webcam light On: The webcam is in use.
(3) Webcam Records video and captures photographs. Some models allow you to
video conference and chat online using streaming video.
To use the webcam:
Windows 7: Select Start > All Programs > Communication and Chat
> CyberLink YouCam.
Windows 8.1: Access HP Support Assistant. To access HP Support
Assistant, from the Start screen, select the HP Support Assistant
app.
Windows 10: Type camera in the taskbar search box, and then
select Camera.
(4) Internal display switch Turns o the display or initiates Sleep if the display is closed while
the power is on.
NOTE: The display switch is not visible on the outside of the
computer.
