4.13.1 SNMP
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), is a network protocol for the management of a
network and the monitoring of network devices and their functions. SNMP supports asynchro-
nous event (trap) notifications and queries.
MLNX-OS supports:
• SNMP versions v1, v2c and v3
• SNMP trap notifications
• Standard MIBs
• Mellanox private MIBs
