no spanning-tree port type default
Configures all switch interfaces as edge/network/normal ports. These ports can be
connected to any type of device.
The no form of the command disables the spanning tree operation.
Syntax Description port-type
• Edge - Assumes all ports are connected to hosts/servers.
• Network -
Assumes all ports are connected to
switches and bridges.
• Normal - the port type (Edge or Network) deter-
mines according to the spanning tree operational
mode.
