7. Connect the ends of the cables labeled “Graphics Card” to the GPUs.
8. Connect the other ends of the cables to the power connector P9 and power connector P12. For more
information on the cable installation, refer to the documentation included with the cable kit.

9. Replace the black plastic plate and fan cage. For instructions on replacing parts, refer to the HP
ProLiant DL/ML370 G6 Server Maintenance and Service Guide. The maintenance and service guide is

Enabling the GPU
Follow these steps to enable the GPU:
1. Power on the server.
2. After the server boots, go into the BIOS settings.
3. Enable the GPU(s) by promoting the GPU (in slot 3) to be the primary display device and disabling the
embedded display adapter.
4. Save and continue the boot process.
5. Connect the monitor to the Digital Video Interface (DVI) port on the GPU.
