Network Interface Configuration
The Network Interface Configuration screen (#112) in Figure 11-2 is
displayed when you press the
[Go To NI] function key at the Network
Transport Configuration Selection screen (Figure 4-2). It is also
displayed when you type the path name:
@NETXPORT.NI
in the command window of any screen and press the [Enter] key.

Use the fields and the function keys of the select screen to perform the
desired action:
• To define a new BT100 NI, specify the NI name and NI type BY100;
then press the
[Add] function key. The path for the selected NI name
is added to the configuration file and the data screen on that path is
displayed. You can have a maximum of 12 NI’s per system (one
NI must be used for loopback). However, HP supports up to
two active BT100 NI’s per system.
• To modify an existing NI configuration, specify the NI name; then
press the
[Modify] function key. The data screen on the path for the
specified NI name is displayed.
