Fixes

Windows driver changes

• Fixed a case when a blue screen could occur after an external bus reset during negotiation (version

3.11).

• Fixed a case where the driver could appear unresponsive during abort processing (version 3.12)

• Fixed several cases when the driver's custom event log messages were being displayed as system

events. (version 3.12)

Linux driver changes

• The SCSI bus would appear unresponsive after receiving a READ ATTRIBUTE command with an

odd transfer length.

• The driver now compiles on the 2.6.26 kernel.

Windows driver installation instructions

To update the Windows driver:

1. Download the driver package for your operating system from http://www.hp.com/support/

u320e. The driver is a self-extracting file.

2. In Windows Explorer, navigate to the location of the downloaded driver package. Double-click

the driver package to extract the files.

3. Navigate to the location where you extracted the files.

4. Double-click setup.exe.

5. Click Install.
