DRIVEREPORT Function
DRIVEREPORT Function
The DRIVEREPORT function of the utility program allows the reporting of tapes in the
tape drives.
Syntax:
Run <SMM ISV>.INTFACE/NAME/ DRIVEREPORT <qualified output
file> <SMM ISV location>
Example:
Run $SYSTEM.SMM.INTFACE/NAME/ DRIVEREPORT
$SYSTEM.OUTPUT.DRVLIST $SYSTEM.SMM
CAPREPORT is the function.
$SYSTEM.OUTPUT.DRVLIST is the output file for the listing.
$SYSTEM.SMM is the location of the SMM software on the
NonStop server. It can be any valid $volume.subvolume.
REFRESH Function
The REFRESH function allows a refresh of the library once 9840 labels have been
identified as 9840C tapes. Without this command SMM would have to be recycled.
This command is run after the ADDTAPE program is run and tape labels are either
added or deleted to/from 9840C support
Syntax:
Run <SMM ISV>.INTFACE/NAME/REFRESH>
Example:
Run $SYSTEM.SMM.INTFACE/NAME/REFRESH
