Actions
Add Node to ServerNet Cluster
Launches a guided procedure that adds the local system to a ServerNet Cluster. This procedure is
also used to configure or display information for Expand-over-ServerNet line handlers.
Collect Diagnostic Data
Initiates manual collection of data for a specified system resource. Upon performing the action, you
are prompted to specify the subsystem resource, along with date and time parameters. Supported
resources include PMF, IOMF, SEB/MSEB, Battery, Fan, Power, Disk, Tape, SNDA, FXSA, and
SWAN.
The volume in which this diagnostic data is collected is specified by the Set Data Collection Volume
action.
Disable Advanced Storage Configuration
Disables the system's Advanced Storage Configuration State attribute. In the disabled state, no
advanced storage configuration changes, such as Flexible Disk Configuration or configuration of
ESS disks, can be made on the system.
Disable Automatic Data Collection
Changes the Automatic Data Collection State attribute value to Disabled, thus disabling automatic
collection of data for failed PMF, IOMF, SNDA, and other system resources.
To enable automatic collection of data, use the Enable Automatic Data Collection action.
Enable Advanced Storage Configuration
This action changes the system's Advanced Storage Configuration State attribute to Enabled. This
state must be enabled before you can configure ESS disks in SCF or perform Flexible Disk
Configuration.
