Ready Status
The availability of the tape:
Ready: Tape is loaded.
Not Ready: No tape is loaded.
Unknown: Tape status cannot be determined.
Logical Device Number The number assigned to the drive by the file system.
Tape Type
The type of tape drive. Values.
Product ID The tape drive product identification.
Device State
The accessibility of the tape drive through the tape process.
Values: Up, Down, Hard Down
Firmware version The version of the firmware.
Physical
Part Number
The part number of the component that was assigned in manufacturing. Use part
numbers for identifying and ordering parts. This is not the spare part number.
Serial Number The serial number of the tape drive.
Process Pair
Redundancy Status
The fault-tolerance status of the tape environment.
Values: Fully Redundant, Redundancy Lost
Backup Process ID The processor number and PIN of the current backup tape I/O process
Primary Process ID The processor number and PIN of the current primary tape I/O process.
Controller Path
SCSI ID An identification number assigned to the device when configured.
SCSI Controller
The number (3) that identifies the SCSI controller that manages the tape
drive.
Example: SSAC (1.1.55.3)
Configured Controller
Location
The location of the SCSI controller.
Example: PMF.SAC-3.GRP-1.MOD-1.SLOT-55
Actions
Responsive Test
Verifies that the component is installed and responding.
