A pair of service processors (X and Y) in a service processor (SP) domain.

pending incident report
An incident report that has never been delivered to your service provider, either because
delivery to both the primary and the backup sites was unsuccessful or because the
incident report was generated at an unattended site.

periodic incident report
A type of incident report that is generated periodically to test the connection to the
service provider and report the current system configuration. The default frequency is 14
days. Periodic incident reports include the system configuration file as an attachment.

peripheral device
Any device used by processors to communicate with users or to acquire or store data.
Peripheral devices include terminals, workstations, printers, disk drives, and tape drives.
physical interface (PIF)
The hardware components that connect a system node to a network.
physical location
A three-part identifier that specifies the group number, module number, and slot number
of a resource. For example: GRP-2.MOD-1.SLOT-8.
Physical view
One of several views available in the view pane of the Management window. The
Physical view of a server is a view of all the enclosures and is intended to represent the
actual floor plan at the site. A Physical view of an enclosure is a visual representation of
the physical location of supported resources inside the enclosure. A Physical view of an
Expand network is a visual representation of the connections and resources within a
network such as a ServerNet cluster.

plug-in card
A replaceable component that provides a unique function when installed in a CRU or
FRU. For example, plug-in cards for MSEBs provide a choice of connection media for
attaching ServerNet cables.
