Actions
Abort
Terminates operation of the Common Communication ServerNet adapter (CCSA) CRU and its
associated ServerNet addressable controller (SAC). When the Abort action finishes, the CCSA CRU
and SAC are in the Stopped state.
Start
Starts the Common Communication ServerNet adapter (CCSA) CRU and its associated ServerNet
addressable controller (SAC). The CCSA CRU and the SAC must be in the Stopped state before you
perform this action.
During startup, the controller operational code is automatically loaded into the SAC. When the Start
action completes, both the CCSA CRU and SAC are in the Started state.
Stop
Rather than automatically stopping the CCSA (as the Abort action does), this action first warns you
if the CCSA is currently in use (and stops it only after you confirm).
Test Verify
Checks the health of the Common Communication ServerNet adapter (CCSA) CRU. It will
determine whether the CCSA CRU can communicate with at least one SAC on the board.
Disk CRU
An internal 3.5-inch hard disk drive. Each disk drive connects to one of two SCSI buses on either a
processor multifunction (PMF) CRU or an I/O multifunction (IOMF) CRU.
Disk CRUs can be located in slots 01 through 08 and slots 11 through 18 in processor and I/O
enclosures (appearance side). SCSI terminators are in slots 09, 10, 19 and 20, for a total of 16
available disk slots.
