7.3.3 Connect the SCSI Signal Cable for the 5157 Drive
To connect the SCSI signal cable:
1. Connect one end of the SCSI cable to the SCSI signal
connector furthest to the left on the 5157 rear panel.
2. Secure the cable with the screws.
3. Connect the other end of the SCSI cable to the SCSI connector
on the system, or for daisy-chained configurations, connect the
other end of the SCSI cable to the next SCSI device.
7.4 SCSI Connections on the 5157/5157 ACL Tape Subsystem
The 5157 /5157 ACL drive has two 68-pin SCSI ports and one 50-
pin SCSI port. The two 68-pin SCSI ports are located on the back
left of the drive(s). The 50-pin SCSI port is located on the right
side of the 5157 ACL. The 50-pin SCSI port on the 5157 drive is
located on the longer side of the rear facing up (see Figures 7-6 and
7-7 for the SCSI port locations).
