ATM3SA (ATM Adapter)
A customer-replaceable unit (CRU) that connects the ServerNet SAN inside a server to an Asynchronous Transfer
Mode (ATM) network through a logical connection known as an ATM line. Each ATM CRU contains one ATM line.
Slot Location: ATM CRUs can be located in slots 53 and 54 in processor enclosures (service side) or in slots 51, 52,
53, and 54 in IOMF or IOMF2 enclosures (service side).

Service State
Physical
A code that identifies the generation of the component. Hardware revision codes are used for
tracking components.
Hardware Revision
Identifies the manufacturer of the component.Manufacturer
The part number of the component that was assigned in manufacturing. Use part numbers for
identifying and ordering parts.
Part Number
Indication of whether the component is powered On or Off.Power State
A unique serial number that identifies the component.Track IDs are used for tracking components.Track ID
Logical
The name of the file used to store dumps of the ATM CRU memory.Dump Filename
The type of transmission used by the ATM CRU.This might be either a standard, such as SONET,
or a line speed, such as 155 Mbps.
Physical Transmission Type
The media access control (MAC) address of the ATM CRU.MAC Address
Indication of whether the ATM adapter software is automatically dumped to the specified dump
file if the software abends abnormally.
Enabled: The software is automatically copied.
Disabled: The software is not automatically copied.
Unknown:: The Automatic Dump state could not be read.
Automatic Dump State
The type of media or cable, such as single-mode fiber or coaxial cable, supported by the ATM
CRU.
Media Type
Indication of whether the ATM CRU firmware is automatically updated when the ATM CRU is
started. The automatic firmware update occurs if either the Start action is performed through the
OSM software or the START ADAPTER command is issued from SCF.
Enabled: The firmware is automatically updated.
Disabled: The firmware is not automatically updated.
Unknown:: The Automatic Firmware Update state could not be read.
Automatic Firmware Update
The state of the component as known to the operating system on the server. ValuesDevice State
Indication of whether the ATM CRU software is automatically reloaded if the adapter software
terminates abnormally.
Enabled: The software is automatically reloaded.
Disabled: The software is not automatically reloaded.
Unknown:: The Automatic Reload state could not be read.
Automatic Reload State
The name of the file used to download the ATM CRU adapter.Download Filename

Firmware
The version of the firmware running on the ATM CRU.Version
