Threshold: Any: Display the alert entries for any threshold.
Only: Display the alert entries only for the specified
threshold.
Severity: Display the alert entries of the specified severity.
When the condition for a given threshold is no longer met, an alert recovery
notification is sent out. For notifications to be delivered to the console, the
recovery information is set for every alert that was logged. For Email and SMS
notifications, recovery information is sent only if the user checked “Notify Upon
Recovery” when setting the alert. Note that the recovery is not per instance that
met the threshold condition, but per entity-metric/param pair. This implies that
multiple recovery notifications may be sent out if there was more than one instance
that met the threshold condition set for the entity-metric/param pair. Also note
that the notification is sent per recovery and not per threshold. Hence it is possible
to receive multiple recovery notifications for one threshold if multiple alerts were
sent previously.
It is possible to monitor live status or parameter values when the performance
monitoring page is active. As mentioned before, this page is refreshed
automatically every 30 seconds by default. The tree retrieves the latest entity
status of each live node and updates the node status accordingly. The right-hand
side frame in this page may or may not get refreshed depending on what is shown
in that frame. If the Monitor tab is selected, then the status table or parameter
table is refreshed. If there is a trend graph being displayed in this tab, the graph is
refreshed according to the graph refresh policy. Refer to Section on Trend Graphs
for detail. For the Alert tab, only the Log sub-tab is refreshed.
