Stop a Batch
You can stop execution of a batch only if the batch has not started execution.
Check the status of a batch in the Batch window, in the Status field. The status of
the batch can be one of the following:
Created, for newly created batch
Scheduled, for submitted for execution
Executing, for started execution
Exec Error, for execution completed with errors
Exec Done, for successful completion
Exec Stopped, for execution stopped by user
If the batch status is Created or Scheduled, you can stop execution. Use the
Batches pane, shown in Figure 10-3, to stop a batch
1. To select a batch, click on the batch number or name.
2. Click on Stop.
3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for stopping additional batches.
Refresh Status
After you have scheduled a batch for execution, click on the Refresh Status button
to see the status of batches. You can set the Refresh Status button to display the
status of batches in intervals of one second.
Monitoring Batch Results
After you have scheduled a batch for execution, you can check the status
of the batch or the results of execution in the Results window.
To display the Results window, click on ViewBatch in the Main window.
The Results window is displayed, as shown in Figure 10-5.
