CHAPTER 9. AUDITING COMMAND
EXECUTION
All operations performed in dba/m Database Manager are logged, so you
can display a history of user operations. SQL operations performed outside
of dba/m Database Manager are not tracked by dba/m Database Manager.
dba/m Database Manager supports three types commands: on-line
commands, batch commands, and direct commands.
On-line commands are executed using the Execute in dba/m
Database Manager windows. When these commands are executed,
the start time of execution and the results of execution are logged.
Batch commands are executed using the Create Batch window.
Only the scheduled execution time and the batch number are
logged. The results of execution are not logged.
Direct commands are executed in the Direct Command window.
These commands are not logged.
To display command histories, click on History in the Main window. The
Command History window is displayed, as shown in Figure 9-1.
